Monash South Africa is now welcoming applications for the 2026-2027 academic year. Both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates can apply via the official portal, where they will need to fill out an application form.
This form is required for both local and international students to confirm they meet the entry criteria and provide the necessary documentation. Applicants must include personal and academic details and upload relevant documents such as identification and academic transcripts.

IIE MSA Online Application Date At 2026-2027
The deadline for applications to the 2025 IIE Undergraduate programme is 25 October. Due to limited spaces, only a select number of students can be admitted each year, so we encourage prospective students to submit their applications before the closing date.
Late applications for full-time IIE Degrees and IIE Higher Certificates will be accepted starting 29 October. Please note that applications for Postgraduate programmes will remain open until the programmes are full.
Online Application Fee For IIE MSA Application 2026-2027
To process your application a non-refundable fee of R400 is required, fees are payable online or via EFT However, for late applications fee of R1750 will be levied.
Once payment is processed, a Student Advisor will reach out to guide you through the final steps of completing the application process.
Admission Requirements For IIE MSA Application 2026-2027
To apply online for admissions for the 2026-2027 academic year, ensure that you meet the following requirements;
South Africans
National Senior Certificate (NSC)
- Higher Certificates: HC pass with English (30%-40%)
- Bachelor Degrees: English (50%-60%) and Mathematics (30%-70%) or Mathematical Literacy (50%-80%)
- Engineering Degrees: English (50%), Mathematics (60%-70%), and Physical Science (50%-60%)
- Law Degree (LLB): English (60%) and Mathematics (50%) or Mathematical Literacy (60%)
National Certificate (Vocational) (NC(V))
- Higher Certificates: HC pass with English (40%)
- Bachelor Degrees: English (50%-60%) and Mathematics (50%-60%) or Mathematical Literacy (60%-80%)
- Engineering Degrees: English (50%), Mathematics (60%-70%), and Physical Science (50%-60%)
- Law Degree (LLB): English (60%) and Mathematics (50%) or Mathematical Literacy (60%)
Senior Certificate (SC)
- Higher Certificates: English (33.3%-40%)
- Bachelor Degrees: English (50%-60%) and Mathematics (30%-60%) or Mathematical Literacy (50%-80%)
- Engineering Degrees: English (50%), Mathematics (60%-70%), and Physical Science (50%-60%)
- Law Degree (LLB): English (60%) and Mathematics (50%) or Mathematical Literacy (60%)
Senior Certificate (Amended) (SC(a))
International Applicants
- A USAf Exemption Certificate for degree studies and relevant subject/English test (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS).
- A SAQA Evaluation Certificate with the appropriate NQF level for postgraduate studies.
- English Language Requirements English is the medium of instruction at IIE MSA. Students from non-
- English medium schools must meet English proficiency requirements for admission.

Required Documents To Apply Online At IIE MSA 2026-2027
The following documents are required to complete the online application;
To certify a document, please visit one of the following authorized officials:
- Your current or previous educational institution (in a sealed envelope)
- IIE MSA Registrar’s Office
- Commissioner of Oaths
For online applications, submit soft (electronic) certified copies. A certified hard copy may be requested for some students before a full offer is made. Since English is the language of instruction at IIE MSA, applicants must meet the English language requirement and provide proof of proficiency.
