Complete Your DUT Application Online for the 2026-2027 Academic Year:

The online application for the academic year 2026-2027 is currently open to all prospective students from near and far at the DUT. The international applications for DUT 2026 must be submitted using the official application forms, which can be obtained from the International School Office or downloaded from the website @ www.dut.ac.za.

During the application form submission, a non-refundable application fee is required with every submission. The early application deadline is February 22, while late applications will be accepted until April 25. Application forms must be accompanied by the required attached documents to authenticate the applications.

DUT has six Faculties, Accounting and Informatics, Applied Sciences, Management Sciences, Engineering and the Built Environment, Health Sciences and Arts& Design. Applicants who are willing to apply to the Durban University of Technology (DUT) 2026 must ensure they meet the minimum entry requirements for their chosen program and understand that submission of a completed application does not guarantee acceptance or registration.

The DUT Online Application Date 2026-2027

• The online application date for the 2026-2027 study year at DUT closes by the 30th of September 2025. It is therefore advisable to apply early to secure a spot for yourself.
• The DUT application date for international applicants closes on February 22; the late closing date is April 25.

How To Apply For Admission To The DUT 2026-2027

• New applications for applicants who are applying to a university for the FIRST TIME must be completed through the Central Application Office (CAO) online platform ( https://www.cao.ac.za/ ) before the closing date.

Get an Activated Email and Phone Number:

• Have your mobile phone and an active email address ready, as you require both to access and complete the online application.

Identify the course Or Programme you wish to study:

Upload Required Documents:

• When completing the online application, applicants should ensure that they attach/upload certified copies of their identity documents and Final Grade 11 & Grade 12 certificates (June/ Trial report if you have not written your final examination).
