How Do I Know The Status Of My UKZN Application 2026-2027?
Follow the step-by-step guide below to track the status of your 20-26-2027 application at UKZN as a first-time applicant or a returning student;
First-Time Entry Applicant
- Visit the official website of the University of KwaZulu-Natal
- Navigate to the application portal
- Click on ” First Year Student Tracker”
- Click on the link to be redirected to a new page: https://erpweb.ukzn.ac.za/pls/ukznint/w99pkg.mi_login?numtype=S
- If you don’t have a Student Number or PIN yet, click “Forgot Student Number”.
Select “Identification Type” from the dropdown and enter your ID, Passport Number, or Email. - Your Student number will be sent via Email and SMS.
- Return to the login page, enter your Student Number, and click “Request a PIN”. The PIN will also be sent via Email and SMS.
- Log in with your Student Number and PIN to be redirected to a new page.
- Click the desired step (e.g., Academic Applications Tracker, Academic Registration Tracker) to view your progress on the Student Tracker page.
Returning Student Applicant
Returning applicants and students can access the system via the following link:
- UKZN Login Page
- Enter your Student Number and PIN. If you have forgotten, need to reset, or request a new PIN, select the relevant option.
- Once logged in, you will be redirected to a new page. Select the desired step (e.g., Academic Applications Tracker, Academic Registration Tracker) to view your progress on the Student Tracker page.
UKZN Application Status Meaning 2026-2027
To check your application status, enter your ID, CAO, or UKZN student number in the provided field. Your application outcome will fall into one of the following categories:
Firm Offer:
- Firm Offer
- Offer with Residence
Pending Status: No decision has been made.
Pending
- Waitlisted
- Referred for Decision
- Awaiting Academic Records or Documentation
Regret Status: Application not successful due to:
- Not meeting admission requirements
- Programme being full
- Offer withdrawn (not accepted within the specified time)
- Offer declined by you.
How To Accept UKZN Application Offer 2026-2027
Accepting an offer for undergraduate studies is now an online process. A link will be sent to the email address provided during your application, and login details will be sent via SMS to your cellphone. Use these credentials to access the UKZN Student iEnabler, where you can accept one or more offers and upload the required documents.
Please note: The Acceptance of Offer and Indemnity forms must be downloaded, completed, signed, and submitted along with the other required documents.
