The University of Witwatersrand wishes to announce to all prospective students who have the intention to enrol for the academic year 2026-2027 that, the online application form is now released on the official website of the University. The online application for admission into the 2026 study remains open till the 30th of September 2025 by which the application submission window wil be closed. Application forms that will be submitted after the deadline will not be processed.

Applicants are to visit the official website of the University and download the application form, fill it out with the required information and documents and submit it before the deadline. Some of the information and details needed on the form include the applicant’s full name, previous school result slips, ID or passport number for international applicants, the preferred course of study and other supporting documents.

• Already Matriculated: Upload certified copies of all your matric certificates/foreign school leaving certificates.
• Other Tertiary Institutions: Upload a certified copy of official academic records from ALL tertiary registrations (even if the qualification was not completed), inclusive of a statement/certificate of good conduct, stamped by the institution’s registrar.
